Sydney Sweeney bounces back with the 'sweetest' collaboration after viral bathwater soap controversy
Sydney Sweeney is turning the page with a far sweeter collaboration fans can actually digest after making waves with her bathwater soap stunt.
On Thursday, June 26, the Euphoria star took to Instagram to announce her new partnership with Baskin-Robbins, unveiling a pair of summer treats inspired by her own favourite ice cream orders.
The limited-time offerings, Sydney’s Signature Scoop and Sydney’s Signature Fizz, will be part of the brand’s upcoming "Sweet on Sydney" menu.
Fans can sink their teeth into the sweet and bathwater-free treats when they hit stores nationwide starting July 1.
"If you know me, you know ice cream always brings the biggest smile to my face :)," the Anyone But You star wrote in the caption of a carousel. "This was literally a childhood dream come true thank you @baskinrobbins."
Her Instagram post celebrating the launch featured some behind-the-scenes images from the campaign as well as a snippet of a promotional video.
The White Lotus alum's new move came weeks after she raised eyebrows with her collaboration with men’s personal hygiene company Dr. Squatch.
She faced a public backlash after launching a limited-edition soap made with her actual bathwater, named "Sydney's Bathwater Bliss."
The soap bar sparked a range of reactions, from amusement to disgust, with some questioning the hygiene and ethics of using bathwater in soap.
Now Sweeney, 27, is putting the infamous bathwater soap buzz behind with a new line of sweet, safe treats which are actually edible.
