Aaron Taylor-Johnson is one of the fan favourites for '007' role
James Bond’s new film has been confirmed, but the question remains that who will be playing the lead role.
Ever since, Daniel Craig stepped down from the role of the British spy, the makers have been pondering who to cast as the new 007.
As per the reports of Variety, the creators have a wishlist of their own which includes names like Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson.
The Spider-Man actor’s inclusion in the film has created a stir online, with many claiming that he might not be the perfect fit as he is “too adorable.”
One of them wrote on X, “I adore Tom Holland, and he has more than proved his ability to play action characters” one admitted. “But… He cannot play James Bond. He’s too adorable”.
“Tom Holland is a fine actor, but I’m convinced he’s going to look like a 16-year-old for the rest of his life. He’s about as far away from James Bond as you can get”, another commented.
A third user expressed, “I’m sorry. Does even Tom Holland think he should be James Bond. is that really something he thinks he’d be good at?”
Internet has been flooding with fans sharing their own favourites. “Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the best pick for playing James Bond! Not Tom Holland. He’s too short and skinny”, said a critic.
