Marvel star confesses his perseverance paid off and he starts learning to walk again
Jeremy Renner has recently shed light on his recovery process following his nearly fatal snowplow accident two years ago.
The Marvel star revealed that his perseverance paid off after going through physical therapy and training as part of his recovery journey.
“I had to spend so much energy on relearning to walk and run,” said the 54-year-old.
Jeremy told the outlet that he was able to run up the driveway without a cane or assistance.
“Somehow, some way I was feeling really good that day and I was doing some physical therapy and training a little bit, and I just thought I’d skip down and see if I can maybe try to do that,” explained the American Hustle actor.
Jeremy confessed he was “overwhelmed” while also feeling a “ray of hope” wash over him after 10 months of that horrible accident, he was actually running.
“I always believed I would [recover], but now I have some physical evidence that I might actually do this for God’s sakes,” pointed out the Arrival actor.
Jeremy further said that since he’s back at work, he’s dreaming and discovering joy.
“Look, I’m rebirthed in a way. I got to wipe the slate clean. It was rolled out of me,” stated The Avengers actor.

Jeremy then underwent two surgeries. Nearly three weeks later, the actor came back home and continued his recovery process.
“I’m not as visibly strong as 10 years ago when I was doing The Bourne Legacy. Maybe it’s better health,” continued the Thor actor
He told US, “It’s health and wellness and mental health and spiritual health and wellness.”
“All that’s pretty central in my life. So obviously I feel much better,” concluded the actor.
