Pedro Pascal has recently shared interesting detail about his upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie.

The actor, “who plays Reed Richards in the upcoming Marvel Phase VI movie, explained he worked on a Transatlantic accent for the role but had to cancel it.

Pedro opened up that he wanted to use ‘60s accent which made perfect sense as the movie was set in that era.

However, his movie team “had to keep on pulling” the actor back from a “very Mid-Atlantic, early '60s kind of talk”.

“They had a dialect coach that was sort of gonna help us into that kind of dialect,” he told Vanity Fair.

Pedro revealed that he took to it so well and his team was “talk more like yourself”.

But the Gladiator II actor mentioned he “had a hard time doing that, because I was so into the era, which for me was something to step into so that it's different than what we've seen before”.

“I think that what they've created is something that we haven't seen,” added Pedro.

Meanwhile, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will hit the theatres on July 25, also features Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer.
