The Bear is officially coming back for a fifth season. FX made the announcement shortly after the release of Season 4, confirming that the Emmy-winning series will return in 2026.

Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will continue leading the story that has become a global favourite.

The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide and their response to this season, as seen through incredibly high viewership, has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons,” said John Landgraf, Chairman, FX

“Year-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television, and we are excited that they will continue to tell this magnificent story.”

Season 4 premiered with all ten episodes on June 25 and has already earned an 85% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This season follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich as they face fresh challenges and work to elevate The Bear to new heights.

Beyond The Bear, Jeremy Allen White has another major role on the horizon.

He’s set to portray rock icon Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming biographical film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Directed by Black Mass filmmaker Scott Cooper, the movie will explore the early 1980s period of Springsteen’s life as he created his hit album Nebraska

The film focuses on the emotional and personal battles the singer faced while coming to terms with fame and unresolved issues from his past.

White joins a cast that includes Jeremy Strong, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, and Paul Walter Hauser.

The film is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 24, 2025.
