Tom Cruise spotted hugging Brad Pitt at the London premiere of latter’s racing movie
Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise’s reunion after 25 years at the London premiere of the movie, F1, took fans by surprise but it was all planned out.
A source confirmed to Rob Shuter for his Substack that the reunion wasn’t a random encounter.
“This was choreographed. It was about optics, not nostalgia,” said an insider.
The source noted that Brad is hoping for F1 to be a massive box office hit as he was spotted hugging the Mission: Impossible actor on the red carpet.
Interestingly, both stars were linked to Top Gun producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Joseph Kosinski.
“Brad’s nervous. Tom needs a win. This was corporate synergy in action,” stated an anonymous studio executive.
Meanwhile, Brad attended the F1 premiere at the Cineworld Leicester Square with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
Tom, on the other hand, came solo at the event without his rumoured girlfriend Ana de Armas but this didn’t stop him from praising her performances in Ballerina movie.
Another insider revealed that Tom “wants to do a movie with Ana; she’s successfully worked with almost every one of his rivals just over the last five or six years”.
The source added, “Ana also has that personality quirk, similar to Tom’s exes Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz, where she doesn’t care what people say about her or think about her.”
