Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans recalled a sentimental line from their upcoming film, Materialists.

The romantic drama film features Johnson as Lucy, a successful New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between her imperfect ex-boyfriend John (Evans) and Harry (Pedro Pascal), a wealthy charming finance man.

During a sit down with the MTV, Johnson and Evans reflected on a dialogue from the film, also featured in the trailer, where john pleads Lucy to stay with him. He says, "When I see your face, I see wrinkles and grey hair and children that look like you."

"I hated that line," Johnson admitted.

Evans explained why the line felt awkward to him. "I always felt that the beginning of the line doesn’t sound the way we want it: 'When I look at your face I see wrinkles and grey hair and children that look like you.' And I was like, is there any world that that starts out the wrong way?"

The Fifty Shades of Grey actress repeated the line, saying that she kept on hearing it throughout the film specially in "every single scene we had together."

They then imagined how the line might feel in a real life situation.

Johnson said, "Look at me with love in your eyes, OK? 'When I look at your face, I see wrinkles.' Can you imagine?"

"It's brutal," Evans said with a laugh.

Directed by Celine Song, Materialists is set to premiere on June 13.
