Cillian Murphy to feature in 2026's '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple'
Oppenheimer famed Cillian Murphy once had a very awkward interaction with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The 49-year-old Irish actor had a deep admiration for Philip, who passed away in February 2014 in New York.
He was known for playing roles in projects like The Hunger Games, and Mission: Impossible III.
Murphy claimed that he was once travelling to New York in which Hoffman was one of his co-passengers.
Peaky Blinders star recalled that when he tried to express his admiration to Phillip at the baggage claim, the moment just got awkward as much as it could be.
In a throwback interview with The Times in 2004, Cillian revealed, "Philip Seymour Hoffman is the only actor I ever approached.”
“I was on a plane to New York with him once. He was waiting for his baggage, and I was standing around for ages like a stalker.”
Murphy shared that the two blushed at each other and then just went on their owns ways.
"So I went up and I said: 'Listen man, I have to say that I am just in awe of you, and I loved all your films.' And he blushed, and then I blushed. And I just left."
The Inception star is all set to mark his appearance in the 2026 horror film, 28 Years Later.
